Bukit Asam Integrated Management Sistem (SMBA)

Nowadays, company shall implement international standard when expanding their bussiness overseas. PT Bukit Asam (PTBA) already certified for ISO 9001:2008 (record management), ISO 14001: 2004 (environmental management), and OHSAS 18001:2007 (occupational health). PTBA combined the 3 international standards into an integrated management system, namely Bukit Asam Management System (SMBA).

Since used in 2009, SMBA helped PTBA business processes already simplified when related to quaiity, environmental and occupational health aspects. Duplication of documentation were avoided and less potential conflict on system implementation. Productivity improved and more cost efective due to use its resources efficiently when comply with the 3 international standart.
