PT Bukit Asam Tbk. (PTBA) has improvement on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). It is align with Goverment program to improve human life quality, productivity and core competence. The current great challenge face by PTBA is to improve human life quality.

One of PTBA performance target is zero accident. By implementing OHS in all level and build interdependency culture. Furthermore, safety leadership and behavior base safety implementation in all company operation is required to meet the zero accident.

As in Law No. 1 year 1970 about OHS, the OHS implementation not only to guarantee safety and health of the employees and other people in the workplace. It also helps company to manage risk of equipment, asset and production so can be used safely and efficiently to avoid work accident and injury.

OHS implementation require support from all parties. It is everyone responsibility, all government body, local government, industrial non government organizations and society at large. Therefore everyone is mandatory to actively participate according to his/her role and responsibility to do all effort in OHS simultaniously.

PTBA viewed OHS implementation with high dicipline not only as mandatory, but also as fundamental for daily jobs. PTBA expected that OHS can be implemented smoothly and zero accident happen year after year.
