245 AKIPBA Graduates, 75 Percent Work in the MIND ID Group
Muara Enim, November 3, 2022 - Graduation of Batch I - IV of the Bukit Asam Mining Industry Community Academy (AKIPBA) was held at the New Multipurpose Building of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) Tanjung Enim on Thursday, November 2, 2022.
245 AKIPBA graduates attended the graduation ceremony, consisting of 81 graduates of the Mining Equipment Operation Engineering Study Program (T-POT), 83 graduates of the Mineral and Coal Processing Engineering Study Program (T-PHT), and 81 graduates of the Mining Equipment Maintenance Engineering Study Program (T-PAT).
About 75 percent of AKIPBA graduates are employed in MIND ID Group members and its subsidiaries.
"On behalf of the management, we would like to congratulate all graduates of batch I – IV who have successfully completed their education. Hopefully with this education you can get a job or continue your education to a higher level. I advised all graduates to continue to improve your skills and adapt to the challenges ahead, especially in today's very uncertain world and business conditions in the digital era," said PTBA Director of Human Resources Suherman in his speech.
He also said that PTBA will always be committed to supporting the education implementation at AKIPBA to continue producing young generations who are competent and ready-to-work for the better Indonesia.
"My highest appreciation to the Director of AKIPBA, lecturers, academic advisors, and AKIPBA education staff for their hard work and patience. May God bless you all. We need to continue to improve and develop in the future so I hope that all of you will remain trustworthy and give your best to the younger generation," he said.

The Mining Equipment Maintenance Engineering study program prepares its graduates as Mining Equipment Maintenance Operators who have competence in the field of mining equipment maintenance.
The Mineral and Coal Mining Processing Engineering study program prepares its graduates to become Mining Products Processing Machine Operators.
The Bukit Asam Great Family Foundation (Yakasaba) give full scholarship to all students at AKIPBA until graduation. Thus, AKIPBA is a manifestation of the company's commitment in creating competent human resources to fulfill the needs in the mining industry.
