Together with the Community towards Sustainable Development
PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is committed to support the Government in sustainable development through Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL). The program becomes an effort to encourage the community to develop and optimize their potential to answer their needs and solve existing collective issues. Through this program, the Company and the society will be capable to build synergy and deliver positive impact to the social and economic life in our neighborhood.
PTBA always maintains good relationships with the stakeholders, through life quality improvement programs, such as social capacity building assistance, education and training support, renovation of social facilities and infrastructure, health services, nature conservation, and other development and empowerment activities. PTBA aims to improve quality of life of the society and empower the local community to be more independent and prosperous by disbursing partnership funds through the Partnership Program.s. However, through the Community Development Program, PTBA designs the community development and empowerment program planning activities based on results of assessment on priority needs, potential and issues using bottom-up approach, thereby the implemented programs will generate optimum positive impact to social, economic and environmental condition of the surrounding society. The good synergy between the society and the Company through PKBL is expected to become our initiative to achieve the Sustainable Development.
