Bukit Asam Encourages Young People to Develop Creative Business Ideas Through Creative Classes
Tanjung Enim, August 11, 2025 – PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the Creative Class program. This initiative is specifically designed to empower and provide space for the creativity of young people in Muara Enim Regency.
Held at the Bukit Asam BUMN House, the program serves as a valuable training platform to stimulate creative business ideas. According to Mustafa Kamal, Head of the Sustainable Eco, Soc & Environment Department, "The Creative Class program provides training to young people and business owners that can help them advance and grow in the future."
Positive feedback came from one of the participants, Wulandari, who felt greatly assisted by the program. "This Creative Class activity has been very helpful for us as young people and SME entrepreneurs. Besides gaining new knowledge and insights, it also opens our minds to build and develop creative business ideas. We hope such can continue," she said.
With the inaugural theme of "Making Beautiful Accessories from Beads," this activity was attended by 30 participants from Lawang Kidul, Tanjung Enim, and Muara Enim subdistricts. Participants not only learned accessory-making skills but also explored the potential of micro-enterprises that can be generated from these creative ideas.
Through the Creative Class program, Rumah BUMN Bukit Asam aims to serve as an incubator for new creative entrepreneurs to continue creating and innovating, thereby contributing to the advancement of the local economy.
