Bukit Asam Received Two GRC Awards
To manage a company in times of crisis is a challenge and Bukit Asam is considered successful in winning that challenge.
Bukit Asam received an award as The Best GRC Overall for Corporate Governance & Performance 2021 in the Mining Industries category. At the same time, Suryo Eko Hadianto, President Director of Bukit Asam received an individual award as The Best CEO 2021. The award was given by Business News Indonesia Magazine because Bukit Asam was considered successful in implementing Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).
There are 19 BUMN, 4 BUMD and 5 private companies receiving awards at the prestigious The Best GRC & Performance Excellence Award 2021 held by Business News Indonesia Magazine. Suryo Eko Hadianto expressed his gratitude for the award given to PT Bukit Asam Tbk. "We thank you for the award and hopefully this can motivate us to work even better," he said.
With “Role of GRC During Crisis, Recovery and Reinvention'' theme and in collaboration with OCEG – USA, FHCI (Indonesian Human Capital Forum), Grajosa Resources, IICD (Indonesian Institute Corporate Directorship), the event took place at the SKY Ballroom JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong, Thursday night.
Based on the analysis of experts and professionals in the fields of GCG, Strategic Management, Finance, Banking, Insurance, ICT, Research & Innovation who became the jury of the GRC & Performance Excellence Award 2021 in the judging process, it was decided that these companies were considered to have implemented the GRC properly in accordance with international standard values and risk management.
