PT Bukit Asam Tbk Achieves ASEAN Asset Class Recognition at ASEAN CGCA 2025
Kuala Lumpur, July 24, 2025 — PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a member of MIND ID Group, once again made a proud achievement at the international level. At the 2025 ASEAN Corporate Governance Conference & Awards (ASEAN CGCA) 2025 held today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, PTBA was recognized as an ASEAN Asset Class Public Listed Company.
This award is given to listed companies in the ASEAN region that are considered to have demonstrated superior performance in the implementation of good corporate governance (GCG) based on GCG standards and best practices in ASEAN. PTBA became one of 23 Indonesian companies that made it into this prestigious list, while showing the company's consistency and strong commitment in maintaining the principles of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness in all aspects of company management in accordance with applicable GCG best practices.
"This recognition is concrete evidence that our governance transformation continues to produce positive results, as well as encouraging our enthusiasm to continue to improve our GCG practice standards in line with the company’s vision of becoming a world-class energy company that cares about the environment," said Arsal Ismail, President Director of PTBA.
ASEAN CGCA is an event organized by the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) and participated by hundreds of public companies from ASEAN countries. The assessment is carried out objectively through the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) which reflects compliance with GCG principles recognized in the ASEAN region which adopts international best practices such as standards set by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
This achievement not only strengthens PTBA's position as a company with professionalism and integrity, but also becomes one of the main drivers in creating investor confidence and increasing long-term value for all stakeholders.
