PTBA Distributes 1,250 Boxes of Milk to Support Stunting Prevention Efforts in Lawang Kidul
Lawang Kidul, October 30, 2026 – PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA), a member of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding, continues to strengthen its commitment to improving public health through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) programs. This time, PTBA distributed 1,250 boxes of milk to help meet the nutritional needs of 26 children affected by stunting in Lawang Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra.
The assistance was handed over by PTBA Community Engagement Section Head, Junardi, to the Tanjung Enim Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas Tanjung Enim) for subsequent distribution to the beneficiary children. Each child will receive eight boxes of milk per month over a six-month period to help fulfill their nutritional needs and support optimal growth and development.
PTBA Corporate Secretary, Eko Prayitno, stated that this program is part of the Company's commitment to contributing to the improvement of public welfare and quality of life, particularly among communities surrounding the Company's operational areas.
"PTBA is not solely focused on achieving business performance targets but is also committed to delivering tangible benefits to the community. Through this milk assistance program, we hope to help fulfill children's nutritional needs while contributing to efforts to accelerate stunting prevention and management, particularly in the Lawang Kidul area," he said.
Eko emphasized that improving children's health is an important investment in the nation's future. Therefore, he noted that collaboration among various stakeholders—including the government, healthcare professionals, businesses, and the community—is essential to ensure that stunting prevention and management efforts can be carried out sustainably.
"We hope this assistance will benefit the children receiving it and contribute to nurturing a healthier, smarter, and better-quality generation. PTBA will continue to implement Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) programs that deliver positive and sustainable impacts on the community," he concluded.
