Bukit Asam Received Three BUMN Performance Excellence Award (BPEA)
In 2021 Bukit Asam has received many awards from various organizations, including the three awards from BUMN Performance Excellence Award (BPEA) held on September 23, 2021. In this event, Bukit Asam, member of the Mining BUMN Holding MIND ID received the following awards: The Best Market Growth, The Best Company Leadership, and Industry Leader 2021.
BPEA is an award event held by the BUMN Excellence Forum as an appreciation for the achievement of the Company's Excellence Level, according to the results of the assessment carried out by referring to the Superior Performance Assessment Criteria (KPKU).
According to the Chair of the BUMN Excellence Forum Agung Yunanto, this award event aims to give appreciation to SOEs for achieving excellent performance and achieving advanced utilization of technology, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
President Director of Bukit Asam Suryo Eko Hadianto, believes that this award is the result of the hard work of all PTBA employees who give their best for the company's performance. “For us, the award is an impact, not a goal. I hope this award will motivate all Bukit Asam employees and I express my gratitude for them. This award is very much substantial for us and hopefully it can continue to be a motivation for all of us," he said.
At the award ceremony, the BUMN Excellence Forum also held a seminar "Managing BUMN Performance for Sound and Competitive Business Continuity." This seminar was also attended by directors from PT Biofarma (Persero) and PT Telkom Tbk. Suryo Eko Hadianto explained about the condition of Bukit Asam which still recorded positive performance and even continued to make good achievements during the Covid-19 pandemic. According to him, the key to the success of Bukit Asam's performance is integration across all sectors as well as digital innovation, encouraging Bukit Asam employees to work optimally during the pandemic. Bukit Asam recorded a positive performance with a net profit of Rp1.8 trillion during Semester I-2021.
