Bukit Asam (PTBA) Recognized as the Best Company at the 2024 Serelo CSR Award
Lahat, December 20, 2024 - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has won the Gold trophy and was named the Best Company at the 2024 Serelo CSR Award, an event organized by the Lahat Regency Government.
The award was presented directly by Imam Pasli, the Acting Regent of Lahat, during the Coordination Meeting of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Responsibility Forum (Forum TJSLP) of Lahat Regency on Wednesday (December 18, 2024).
On this occasion, Imam invited private companies, state-owned enterprises, and regional-owned enterprises to collaborate with the government to eradicate poverty in Lahat Regency. He also expressed appreciation to companies that have contributed to the development of Lahat.
"Development cannot proceed quickly and accurately if done alone. We need collaboration from various sectors to build the region together," he said.
Imam emphasized that the formulation of the company’s corporate social responsibility and environmental responsibility programs should align with government policies. "I hope the members of the TJSLP Forum can develop targeted poverty alleviation programs and coordinate each activity well. With solid collaboration, we can create a real impact for the people of Lahat Regency," he added.
Dedy Saptaria Rosa, VP of Sustainability at PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), also shared his views. Dedy stated that corporate social responsibility is not only a moral obligation but also a strategic investment for a better future. "We are committed to supporting local government efforts and communities to ensure inclusive and sustainable development," said Dedy.
He further noted that the Serelo CSR Award is recognition of PTBA's contribution to improving community welfare. "This achievement also serves as an additional motivation for PTBA to continue supporting development in Lahat Regency through its TJSL programs," he said.
Dedy also invited all parties to strengthen collaboration to create positive change. "Through synergy, every small step we take together will lead to a significant transformation. Let us make this moment a reminder that only through cooperation can we create a more prosperous and inclusive Lahat Regency," he concluded.
