Tanjung Enim, June 2, 2025 – PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a member of the BUMN Mining Industry Holding MIND ID, proudly commemorated the birth of Pancasila on June 1, 2025. This year's commemoration is a momentum for PTBA to reaffirm its commitment to the noble values of Pancasila as the foundation of the state and a guideline in every step of the company, in line with PTBA's vision and mission to make the best contribution to the nation and state.
President Director of PTBA, Arsal Ismail, stated, "The birth of Pancasila is a moment of reminder of the strong foundation that unites us as Indonesians. In the midst of global dynamics and evolving challenges, the values of Pancasila - Believe in One God, Fair and Civilized Humanity, Indonesian Unity, Democracy Led by Wisdom in Consultation and Representation, and Social Justice for All Indonesian People - become increasingly relevant as our moral compass."
In celebration of the birth of Pancasila Day, PTBA showed its commitment to continue to grow with the community, which is a manifestation of the noble values of Pancasila. The Dream Village and Bamboo Downstream Program is a tangible example of the aspects of social justice and mutual cooperation, empowering low-income communities and housewives. Through the utilization of waste and the provision of economic alternatives, this initiative not only creates new livelihoods but also fosters a spirit of togetherness in building local potential.
Furthermore, PTBA strengthens unity and social justice through the Development of the Bukit Asam Manufaktur Industrial Center which empowers the economy in the Ring 1 area by utilizing local expertise to create a workshop industry cluster. Similarly, the Bukit Asam Batik Kujur Industrial Center and the Women's Empowerment Program through the Assisted MSEs - Sentra Industri Bukit Asam (SIBA) Mushroom are real evidence of PTBA's commitment to women’s empowerment. By providing batik and mushroom cultivation skills, PTBA not only opens up economic opportunities but also preserves culture and improves family welfare, reflecting the spirit of gotong royong in every step.
"We believe that by practicing the values of Pancasila, PTBA will not only grow as a strong and sustainable company, but also become an agent of positive change for society and the environment. Our real contribution, both through responsible company operations and impactful CSR programs, is a reflection of the spirit of Pancasila that we always uphold," Arsal Ismail added.
PTBA is committed to continue to be an integral part of the nation's development, holding fast to Pancasila as the ideological foundation and ethical guideline in all its activities. Through the commemoration of the birth of Pancasila, PTBA hopes to inspire more parties to jointly maintain and practice the noble values of Pancasila for a more advanced and Indonesia prosperity.
