Bukit Asam (PTBA) Receives Three Awards at Top BUMN Awards 2024
At Top BUMN Awards 2024, which was held in Jakarta on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) won three awards: Top BUMN Awards 2024 in the Public Company - Non-Financial Sector category, The Most Admired CEO on Leading Data Driven Transformation with Bukit Asam Business Analytics for Arsal Ismail, President Director of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), and The Best CFO BUMN 2024 in the Excellent in Sustainability Transparency category for Farida Thamrin, Director of Finance and Risk Management of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA).
"We are grateful for this acknowledgement. The collaborative efforts of every employee in Bukit Asam have yielded these awards. Despite various challenges, Bukit Asam has maintained good performance. This recognition motivates us to give better performance,” said President Director of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA).
While Farida Thamrin, Director of Finance and Risk Management of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), expressed her gratitude for the award, “This achievement reaffirms management's commitment to increase the company’s contribution to the national economy and expand its benefits to the community," she said.
Top BUMN Awards 2024 is a way of recognition from Bisnis Indonesia Group for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) that have major accomplishments. SOEs are evaluated based on their performance, ideas, innovation, and business transformation amidst the dynamic global and domestic economic situation.
Another factor considered is the company’s ability to survive and partake in the global economic environment, which has a significant impact on attempts to achieve company financial target. For this reason, "Performance and Sustainability" is the theme of the 2024 TOP BUMN Award.
