Bukit Asam Won the Best Company Title at the Serelo CSR Award
PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) was selected the Best Company and took home the Gold trophy in the Serelo CSR Award hosted by the Lahat Regency Government.
The Regent of Lahat, represented by the Regional Secretary of Lahat Regency Chandra gave the award to AVP Sustainability Accounting & Finance PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) Laurentius Agus Haryadi in Pagar Alam on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Chandra said that the Serelo CSR Award was the highest recognition given by the Lahat Regency Government for companies that were judged to have CSR programs that had implemented impact and risk management, provided benefits to recipients, and contributed to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia.
He also invited BUMN, BUMD and the business community to work together in the development of Lahat Regency through CSR program that the regional government had designed in accordance with community needs.
"This award represents the Lahat Regency Government's appreciation for what the company has done through the CSR program, as well as motivation for companies to work together to improve Lahat Regency," said Chandra.
Meanwhile, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) VP Sustainability Hartono stated that the award encouraged PTBA to continue supporting development in Lahat Regency. CSR programs are of course aligned with local government policies to ensure optimal results.
"PTBA is committed to actively contributing to economic development and community welfare. We will continue to strengthen the implementation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment concepts so that the company's performance becomes more solid," he emphasized.
