Bukit Asam continues to grow and compete excellently by improving the quality of corporate governance implementation with conducting regular evaluations and benchmarking. In the 2020 CGPI Awards, Bukit Asam won in the “Most Trusted Company” category.

CGPI (Corporate Governance Perception Index) is a yearly research program and rating of GCG (good corporate governance) practices of companies in Indonesia since 2001.

Each participating company has followed two stages of assessment, namely the analysis and observation stages. The analysis stage is carried out by filling out a questionnaire (self-assessment) and assessing company documents, while the observation stage uses the executive exposure method and active discussion between the assessment team and the Company's organs.

This year, the CGPI assessment aspects include governance structure, governance process, and governance outcome, which are described in several indicators using stakeholder perspectives.

This award certainly forces Bukit Asam to continue improving the implementation of corporate governance in carrying out business processes within the company.
