PT Bukit Asam Tbk sent off 50 Bidiksiba Scholarship receiver students on Friday (7/26). This event was symbolically carried out by Deputy GM UPTE, M Taufiq in the Bukit Asam Ball Room. The scholarship winners can proceed to the designated Polytechnic of Bukit Asam, namely the Sriwijaya Polytechnic and Malang State Polytechnic. 

Through this scholarship program, Bukit Asam hopes to continue to grow and develop with the community to jointly improve the quality of human resources.

Chairman of the Bidiksiba 2019, Yusril Alamsyah said that this year there were 50 students who had succeeded in getting Bidiksiba after the selection of 285 participants. "These 25 students will go to Malang State Polytechnic and the other 25 to Sriwijaya State Polytechnic," he said.

“Participants will be given full assistance until they graduate,” he continued. Before these 50 students, there were 188 students who received Bidiksiba and 93 of them successfully graduated with satisfying predicates. "Alhamdulillah 68 alumni have worked in industrial field in BUMN or in PTBA's subsidiaries," he explained.
