In order to create good and build corporate governance that is free of corruption, PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk or PTBA have signed the Integrity Pact by symbolic declaration. The signing had done by Milawarma as well as Director of PTBA, Agus Suhartono as  President Commissioner, and Sugiyono Sugi, as Deputy and Director Gratuities Corruption Eradication Commission (Komisi Pembentantasan Korupsi/KPK).

At the signing where took place in night of PTBA 35th anniversary at the Bukit Asam Sports Hall (GOR)  Tanjung Enim, on Wednesday (03/02/2016), Milwarma said that the declaration is a continuation of the commitment for what they did in 2005 ago. At that time, by the presence of the Head of the Attorney General, the Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia and Chairman of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia, PTBA committed to carry out management, reporting, and control of gratification.

Given the sustainable commitment, PTBA wouldn't given, accept any form of gratification, and report if forced to accept gratuities. This is certainly welcomed by KPK, because PTBA considered to have anticipated the action of corruption in the corporate environment from an early age.

Commonly, the gratification is something that is accepted free of charge. By the  law, in particular KPK, the gratification is the root of corruption, especially if given to civil servants or state officials. Beginning of gratification in the form of small things, an officer will be familiar with taking bribes.
