President Director of PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk, Arviyan Arifin, was awarded Best CEO of SOEs Executor category in Anugerah BUMN 2017 held by BUMN Track with PPM Management support.

The award was given directly by M. Said Didu as the judge to Arviyan Arifin, at the awards ceremony of Anugerah BUMN Awards 2017 last night (15/09) in Jakarta.

As CEO of the Best Executor category, Arviyan Arivin is considered to have competent ability the running ofcompany's business strategy. Not only that, Arviyan Arifin also considered as a good leader in determining the right policy direction for the company.

This is evidenced by the increase in the performance of PTBA in the first half of 2017, in which the company's profit increased Rp 1.01 trillion compared to the same period the previous year to Rp 1.72 trillion.

The judging process led by Tanri Abeng has been conducted since last July through several stages ranging from document selection to CEO interview.

Through this appraisal, it is expected to encourage the leadership of SOE CEO who can strengthen corporate performance by empowering the company's strengths. In addition, SOEs are expected to continue to contribute to the country by continuing to increase the value, such as the theme that was carried on Anugerah BUMN 2017 namely "Improving the Value of State Owned Enterprises for the Country".
