Preserving the Nation’s Historical Legacy, PTBA Receives the 2025 ANRI Award

Jakarta, November 11, 2025 — PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) once again achieved national recognition by receiving an award from the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI).
The award serves as an appreciation for state-owned enterprises (SOEs) that actively fulfill their responsibility to preserve documents of historical value for the nation. PTBA received the award for its consistency in submitting static archives on five occasions — in 1998, 2010, 2016, 2019, and 2025.
Head of Public Relations and Corporate Administration Department, Mr. Sugandhi Syarief, stated that this achievement reaffirms PTBA’s commitment and dedication to preserving archives as the collective memory of the nation, holding significant value in the historical journey of Indonesia.
“Archives are not merely documents; they are records of our nation’s journey that must be safeguarded and passed on. PT Bukit Asam is committed to continuously strengthening accountable, modern, and sustainable archival management,” said Sugandhi during the award ceremony held at Noerhadi Magetsari Room, Building C, ANRI, Jakarta, on Thursday (November 6, 2025).
Sugandhi added that this recognition serves as motivation for PTBA to keep innovating and enhancing its archival system to remain adaptive to technological advancements.
“The 2025 ANRI Award stands as proof of PTBA’s commitment to preserving archives as a historical legacy for future generations,” he emphasized.
The award ceremony was attended by 32 state-owned enterprises from across Indonesia, along with representatives from BP BUMN and BP Danantara. The presence of these stakeholders symbolizes the shared commitment among SOEs to uphold sound archival governance and contribute to the preservation of the nation’s history.
