PTBA Cooperates with Muara Enim Attorney Office to Maintain Legal Compliance
PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) and the Muara Enim District Attorney's Office agreed to extend the Cooperation Agreement on Handling Legal Issues in the Civil and State Administrative Sector.
The signing of the agreement was carried out by the Director of Human Resources of PTBA Suherman and the Head of the Muara Enim Disctric Attorney Office Ahmad Nuril Alam at the Saka Hotel, Muara Enim on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
On this occasion, PTBA President Director Arsal Ismail, who also witnessed the signing, said that PTBA needed the support of various parties in carrying out its activities, including the Muara Enim Attorney in the field of civil and state administration.
"The company always pays attention to aspects of compliance with applicable regulations. Muara Enim Attorney Office’s role is important for Bukit Asam in making strategic decisions," said Arsal.
The scope of cooperation between PTBA and the Muara Enim Attorney Office includes the Provision of Legal Assistance, Provision of Legal Advice, and other Legal Actions.
Through this cooperation, the Company can get various assistance from the Muara Enim Attorney, so that its operational and business activities can run according to legal corridors and the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).
"The cooperation with the Muara Enim Attorney Office is one of Bukit Asam's efforts to improve compliance with applicable regulations and the application of GCG principles," said Arsal.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Muara Enim Attorney Office, Ahmad Nuril Alam, said that his institution was ready to support PTBA in all its activities to always comply with laws and regulations and the principles of good corporate governance.
