PTBA Receives 3 TOP CSR Awards for Innovative CSR Program
PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) was successful in taking home three awards at the 2023 TOP CSR Awards: 2023 TOP CSR Awards on #Star 5, 2023 TOP CSR Golden Trophy, and 2023 TOP Leader on CSR Commitment for PTBA President Director Arsal Ismail.
The award's ceremony, with the theme "CSR Innovation Programs for Sustainable Business Growth," took place in Jakarta on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
"We are grateful and proud. This appreciation is unquestionably our encouragement to continue carrying out sustainable business practices so that we can contribute optimally to society," Suherman, Director of Human Resources (HR) of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) stated.
PTBA actively supports the improving of the community's welfare in the company's operational areas, grows and develops with the community, and provides benefits to the surroundings. As a manifestation of this commitment, a number of programs that support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) have been implemented, such as the Micro and Small Business Funding Program (PUMK), Bidiksiba and Ayo Sekolah Scholarships, Food Clusters with the Utilization of Environmentally Friendly Renewable Energy (Ruang Rural), Bamboo for Life, Solar Power Plants for agricultural irrigation pumps in various locations, coral reef conservation, and River Basin Area rehabilitation.
"These steps are in line with PTBA's Noble Purpose as a member of the MIND ID Group: We explore natural resources for civilization, prosperity, and brighter future,” said Suherman.
The TOP CSR Awards have been held since 2017 by Top Business Magazine in collaboration with a number of institutions such as the Indonesian Governance Professional Association (PaGI), Indonesian CSR Association, Corebest (CSR Consulting & Training Institute), Interdev (CSR Consulting & Training Institute), LKN (Lembaga Kajian Nawacita), PAKEM (Microfinance Development Foundation), SDP (PT Sinergi Daya Prima/GCG Consultant), SGL Management (Management and Business Consultant), Solusi Kinerja Bisnis (SKB), and the Indonesian CSR journalist association.
Every year, this event is participated by hundreds of leading companies. Companies that have demonstrated a commitment to social responsibility and that care deeply about the economics, society, and environment of their community are recognized with the awards.
