With Positive Performance, Bukit Asam (PTBA) Receives the Highest Award at 2024 Issuer Appreciation Night
PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) received awards in four categories at the 2024 Issuer Appreciation Night in Balikpapan on Friday, July 26, 2024: Main Index, High Dividend, High Growth, and Big Market Cap.
The awards were presented because PTBA was considered successful in maintaining stable performance in the capital market. This is evident in the performance of profit growth, market capitalization (market cap), and dividend yield during the last five years.
Corporate Secretary of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), Niko Chandra, expressed his gratitude and believes that the award would motivate the company to perform even better in the future.
"This appreciation motivates us to further improve the company's performance, continue to transform to realize PTBA's vision as a world-class energy company that cares about the environment, and provides non-stop energy for the country," said Niko Chandra.
PTBA generated a net profit of Rp6.1 trillion by recording revenue of Rp38.5 trillion for the fiscal year 2023.
The company's total assets as of December 31, 2023 amounted to Rp38.8 trillion. This would be capital allowing the company to continue operating sustainably.
The 2024 Issuer Appreciation Night presents awards to issuers that record positive performance on the Tempo-IDN Financials 52 Index. The index is a list of the best-performing issuers on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
The assessment criteria include market capitalization or market cap, compound annual profit growth, dividends, number of shareholders, average volume and frequency of stock transactions per day, and a free float of at least 7.5 percent of the issuer's shares listed on the capital market.
