Arsal Ismail's Leadership Receiving CEO Service and Operation Excellent Award
President Director of PT Bukit Asam Tbk Arsal Ismail received an award in the BUMN Award 2022. BUMN Award was first initiated by the first SOE Minister Tanri Abeng. This year, Arsal received an award in the CEO Service and Operation Excellent category for his success in leading the Company to provide the best service and operations. In his leadership, the Company was also able to score a solid performance and high competitiveness in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Not only from a financial perspective, we also assess the CEO's strategy in determining the steps taken for transformation and business development in the midst of a difficult year. We can conclude that this SOE is resilient and able to provide its best performance, due to its CEO’s capabilities," said Tanri Abeng on the night of the BUMN Award 2022 which took place at the JW Marriott Hotel, Jakarta (March 24, 2022).
Besides CEO Service and Operation Excellent category, Bukit Asam also received the Best Award III in the Business and Technology Innovation category. This award was achieved due to the Company's commitment to innovation and latest technology use to support business and organizational performance.
One of the technological innovations that has been implemented by the Company is the development of a one-stop web and mobile application under the name CISEA (Corporate Information System and Enterprise Applications). With a long supply chain process and involving various work units, CISEA supports the Company's business processes to be more efficient and effective.
For this achievement, Arsal extends his highest appreciation to Bukit Asam personnel who continue to innovate and provide best services.
“This award is both appreciation and motivation for the management and all Bukit Asam personnel. Bukit Asam will continue to provide the best services and carry out digital transformation to face challenges in the industrial era 4.0," said Arsal.
Organized by BUMN Track and supported by PPM Management, the BUMN Award 2022 with theme “Transformation of BUMN Governance to Build Business Balance”, was held as a competition for SOEs and SOEs’ CEOs in presenting creative and innovative ideas to maintain business continuity in the endemic transition era.
