PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk was awarded Anugerah Terpuji I (Praiseworthy Award) as the best public service company from The La Tofi School of CSR on Thursday, September 25 at Kempinski Hotel Jakarta. The award was presented by Mr. Hartono, Director of Empowerment at Ministry of Social Services, to Maizal Gazali, HR & General Affair Director of PTBA. Mr. Danang Girindrawaradana, Head of Indonesian Ombudsman and La Tofi, Chairman of La Tofi School of CSR also came to the event.
        
Proudly announced that PTBA also achieved the best for Partnership and Social Mentoring in 6 categories including Small Enterprises Mentoring (Gold Award), Public Education (Gold), Public Health (Gold), Public Facilities Development (Gold), Environmental Preservation and Social Welfare Handling (Gold).

On behalf of Head of Jury, Danang Girindrawardana said that PTBA (has) applied transparency in any current CSR activities. “I really appreciated PTBA for their transparency and accountability in reporting any CSR activities. It would be a motivation to be adopted by other companies”.
