PTBA Provides Assistance for 105 Mosques and 106 Musala
In the month of Ramadan 1444 H, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) provided operational cost assistance to the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) and Musala (prayer rooms) around the company's operational areas.
There were 105 mosques and 106 prayer rooms located in Muara Enim Regency (Districts of Tanjung Agung, Lawang Kidul, Muara Enim) and Lahat Regency (Districts of East Merapi and West Merapi) that received this assistance.
Assistance was symbolically given by Deputy Chairperson of PTBA Ramadan Committee Ihwani Maris and VP Procurement of Assets & Supporting Civil Infrastructure of PTBA Ichsan Aprideni to the management of DKM Mosque and Musala at Bukit Asam Jamik Mosque, Tanjung Enim on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
"This activity is a form of gratitude for the month of Ramadan and also to enliven the mosque," said Ihwani Maris.
Ichsan Aprideni on this occasion asked the community to pray so that PTBA can increasingly provide benefits to the community, nation and state. "We would like to ask the community to pray so that all of us will be given strength and trust in carrying out our duties. Hopefully we can all welcome Eid Al-Fitr 1444 H with joy," he said.
Representing DKM management, H Hadirman from the Nurul Huda Mosque in Lingga Village expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided by PTBA.
"We are very grateful to Bukit Asam for providing assistance to mosque and musala management in Muara Enim Regency, Lahat Regency and its surroundings. Our hope is that Bukit Asam will always success and continue to share prosperity for the local community, especially in Ring 1 of the Muara Enim and Lahat Regencies," he said.
Various assistance has been distributed by PTBA during Ramadan 1444 H including 10,000 food packages for low-income people in Muaran Enim and Lahat Regencies, as well as 795 food packages for honorary teachers in the area around the company.
With this assistance, it is hoped that the local community can feel the direct benefit from PTBA's presence. Providing assistance is also a form of company concern and hospitality to the community in the area around the company.
To enliven the month of Ramadan, PTBA also held a number of events such as Islamic preaching competitions for junior and senior high school students and equivalents, and Al Quran short chapters memorizing competitions for elementary school students and equivalents.
