PTBA Received 3 Awards at the Top BUMN Awards 2022
Jakarta, December 14, 2022 - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) received 3 awards at the Top BUMN Awards 2022: Top BUMN in the Corporation category, Top CEO in the Appreciation for Green Initiative category for PTBA President Director Arsal Ismail, and Top CFO BUMN Awards in the Best CFO category: Excellent in Enterprise Risk Management for PTBA Director of Finance and Risk Management Farida Thamrin.
With the theme "Competitive, Sustainable and Value Creating", Top BUMN Awards 2022’s main indicator assessed was the ability of SOE to recover faster and rise stronger in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic that had major impact on achieving company targets in the financial aspect.
Top BUMN Awards 2022 Board of Jury Chairman Roy HM Sembel in his remarks said that the assessment process had been carried out in a comprehensive manner to find the best SOE. "A calm sea doesn’t make a skilled sailors. We hope to see strong sailors or business people and companies here," he said.
PTBA President Director Arsal Ismail expressed his gratitude for the award. "PTBA continues to transform, in line with the government's target of achieving Net Zero Emissions in 2060 and PTBA's vision to become a world-class energy and chemical company. This award further motivates us to encourage a sustainable business," said Arsal.
According to PTBA Finance Director Farida Thamrin, the company's success was the result of hard work together and this award made the company enthusiastic to continue its positive achievements to make an optimal contribution to the nation and state. "We are grateful for this appreciation and will continue to focus on implementing sustainable efficiency to provide optimal contributions to the nation and state," she said.

There are a number of award categories at this event, namely the Top BUMN Awards in the corporate category, the CEO and CFO categories, as well as the Special Awards 2022 and the Special Achievements 2022.
