Many ways to do ngabuburit positively, creatively and usefully when fasting. Ngabuburit taken from the Sundanese and already familiar to Tanjung Enim residents as various activities carried out while waiting for fasting breaking time. Moreover, this year Ramadan felt during long school holidays period.

PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. or PTBA held several religious competitions for all ages. The organized competitions were to enliven the holy month with religious activities. The activities were packed to attract people to involve in and benefit from them. The activities were effort to build and raise community spirit from an early age to excel and highly performed.

There are 4 types of competitions, namely competition Short Prayer Memorizing for Kindergarten and Early Childhood student levels, Quran Reading Competition for Primary school students, Competition for Mothers in Majlis Taklim on reading surah Yasin, and Friday Worship Contest for Junior High and Senior High School Students. Ngabuburit can be meaningful and important if positive, creative, and useful.
