Republic of Indonesia Government set a decent wage by issuing Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration Decree Number 7 in 2013 about Minimum Wages (MW). This wage policy contained MW with the aim to protect workers from employers who pay less attention to their employee welfare.

PTBA HR Unit held socialization about the decree in PTBA Hall Tanjung Enim Office (27/8). The event has more than 150 attendants who are PTBA suppliers. Busyro Johan (Muara Enim District Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Staff) was the guest speaker on the event. In addition, PTBA GM UPTE (Wibisono) attended this event.

Through the socialization, was expected that all parties know with certainly the rights and obligations of each parties in conducting business and comply with the rules and regulations. Then vendors as PTBA business partners can understand and support the Company needs.

Knowing the decree, the problem among government, employers, and labor can be reduced on setting MW. Employee welfare improved through the establishment of a decent wage and expected by all workers in an employment relationship as well as profitable entrepreneurs.
