PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. (PTBA) initiated to development Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra, became  a tourist destination city. This initiative marked with the inscription in the declaration of the event The Declaration of Development Tanjung Enim Towards a Tourism Destination City in South Sumatra, in the Mess Hall Base Camp PTBA, Tanjung Enim, Sunday (28/8).

"We want to make Tanjung Enim become a tourist destination in order to be more resilient and self-sufficient, when coal deposits here is not exploitable," said Director General and HR PTBA Eko Suryo Hadianto in his speech.

In addition to the Director General and HRD of PTBA, the parties who signed the tablets was Bupati Muara Enim Muzakir Sohar Sai, Chairman of the Parliament Muara Enim Aries HB, and the element of stakeholder represented by Basrief Arief from Anther.

The event was attended by hundreds of invitations that represents the youth and the people who are in the ring one company.

Eko Suryo Hadianto said, the signing ceremony into the initial momentum for all parties to provide input for the vision PTBA in developing Tanjung Enim to the tourist destinations city in South Sumatra runs smoothly and perfectly.

To reach these conditions, PTBA has set up a Central Square Bukit Asam to be square in Tanjung Enim. This square will soon include an interesting variety of amusement rides as well as coal mining museum. Meanwhile, along the lip of Enim River that flows around it will be transformed into a beautiful garden-style heritage.
