Bukit Asam (PTBA) Claims Able to Pass the 2019 DMO Obligations

PT Bukit Asam Tbk. claiming to fulfill the obligation to fulfill domestic supply or domestic market obligation coal in 2019.
Bukit Asam Suherman's Corporate Secretary explained that last year the company's coal sales to the domestic market were 14 million tons in 2018. In fact, the quota of PTBA's domestic market obligation (DMO) last year was around 6 million tons.
Thus, Suherman said that the issuer with the PTBA stock code far exceeds the DMO obligation quota in 2018. Thus, his party is optimistic that it can meet the 2019 target.
"If only 26% of PTBA will certainly be able to fulfill it, it will even be far beyond the obligations of the DMO," he told Bisnis.com, Thursday (02/14/2019).
Based on Bisnis.com records, Bukit Asam's Managing Director Arviyan Arifin said that the company is optimistic that it will record sales volume of 25.88 million tons by the end of 2018. The composition of 13.74 million tons for the domestic and export markets is 12.15 million tons.
"The increase in sales was also supported by expansion into high calories. In addition, coal demand especially in the Asean region is positive along with the operation of a number of coal power plants," he explained.
