PTBA Receives Two Prestigious Awards in October 2016
October may be regarded as a month full of blessings for PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA). In this blessing month, the company wich engaged in the coal mining and headquartered in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra, have received two prestigious awards. The first, from The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), and second from The Securities Analysts Association of Indonesia.
On 4 Oktober 2016, at Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Plaza, Jakarta, PTBA received The Energy Award 2016 for Pratama (primary) Category. This award is given directly by Plt. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Luhut Binsar Panjaitan.
Energy Award 2016 is a form of appreciation by the Government to appreciate the merits of individual, group or community, national or foreign companies, and local or central governments. This award is given to them because they had been instrumental in conducting business development, supply and utilization of energy with the principle of diversification and conservation of energy that produces real products physically as a result of innovation and development of new technologies.
The second award was received by PTBA on October 7, 2016, from The Securities Analysts Association of Indonesia. PTBA was selected as one of The Best Issuers 2016. This award is given after Analyst doing review and research to 536 listed companies in Indonesia. The study and research covers aspects of going concern, the profitability of listed companies in the future, stock liquidity, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), and transparency to the shareholders. On the basis of studies and research, The Analyst chose 40 companies as The Best Issuer in 2016.
In response to this success, Bukit Asam Production Director Joko Pramono congratulate to all of employees of Bukit Asam, who have proven themselves to be able to bring the Company to be the winner in the judging operational innovation in energy saving as well as The Best Issuers in 2016 on the achievement of all human performance Bukit Asam.
