PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk or PTBA handed over donations to the Muara Enim District Government in the form of Muara Enim Great Mosque. The handover of Muara Enim Mosque was conducted on Wednesday (13/09) by PTBA President Director, Arviyan Arifin, to Muara Enim Regent Muzakir Sai Sohar after the dawn prayers in Muara Enim Mosque.

The handover of the Great Mosque of Muara Enim also signifies the inauguration of the Great Mosque which is located on Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani Muara Enim. In front of invited guests, PTBA Director and Regent Muara Enim signed the Handover of Muara Enim Great Mosque from PTBA to Muara Enim District Government.

Previously, PTBA undertook the renovation and construction of the Muara Enim Great Mosque. Renovation and construction of Muara Enim Great Mosque is a form of PTBA's concern to continue to contribute in Muara Enim. Muara Enim Great Mosque takes 13 months development time, from July 2016 until the end of August 2017 and built using PTBA CSR funds of Rp 10.4 billion.

As a community center of Muara Enim Mosque, Muara Enim Great Mosque has building with an area of 1.451 m2 and can accommodate up to 1.700 people. It’s hoped that with the Muara Enim Great Mosque, Muara Enim community can use as a means of worship such as recitation, praying prayers to Eid al-Fitr prayers and Eid al-Adha.
