BUMN Synergy, PTBA Ready to Develop Solar Power Plants (PLTS) at Indonesian Airports

BUMN synergy programs for the development and utilization of new and renewable energy are increasingly being realized.
PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) and PT Angkasa Pura II have successfully built and operated a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
This PLTS has 720 solar panel systems with photovoltaics with a maximum capacity of 241 kilo watts per peak (kWp) and is installed in the Airport Operation Control Center (AOCC) Building.
The PLTS
in the AOCC Building was built and managed by PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA),
collaborating with PT Surya Energi Indotama, a subsidiary of PT LEN Industri.
The PLTS operation is currently in trial phase and will be fully operational on
October 1, 2020.
This PLTS installation is the pioneer for new and renewable energy and green airports implementation at Indonesian airports.
In line with the commitment of BUMN synergy to develop new and renewable energy and excellent performance towards Beyond Coal, the President Director of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) Arviyan Arivin hopes that similar collaboration can continue and be improved in the future.
"PTBA is ready to work together to develop Solar Power Plants at Indonesian airports," he said.
PTBA continues to diversify its business beyond coal, in line with its vision to become a world-class energy company that cares about environment.
