PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is revitalizing the Old Headquarters (KBL) in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra, which has been established since 1957. With green building concept, the KBL Building will be equipped with a number of facilities to support carbon emission reduction, including installation of Rooftop Solar Power Plant. Consisting of 72 units of Solar Panels, the total capacity of the Rooftop Solar Power Plant will reach 30 Kilowatt-peak (KWp).
"The KBL revitalization is an implementation of the Company's commitment to reducing carbon emissions. This building will be certified as a Green Building," said PT Bukit Asam Tbk President Director, Arsal Ismail.
Not only Rooftop Solar Power Plant, the building will be equipped with various other facilities, such as a system for utilizing rainwater and AC condensate water for flushing toilets, a system for utilizing Black Water for watering gardens, and window panes with Low-E specifications.
