Bukit Asam Medika Hospital Increases Generator Capacity to Improve Public Services

To strengthen community health services, Bukit Asam Medika Hospital (RSBAM) has upgraded its generator capacity to ensure that hospital operations can continue in the case of a power outage.
On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, RSBAM received a 250 kVa temporary generator from PT Bukit Asam Tbk (Tbk), which replaced the 100 kVa generator.
This generator allows the Operating Room, Emergency Room (IGD), Incentive Room (ICU, HCU, NICU, Peristi), Pharmacy, Outpatient, MCU, and Inpatient Room services to continue operating regularly during a power loss.
"Hospitals play a critical role in community health care. This generator is an alternative source of electricity, ensuring that RSBAM's medical services work smoothly," said Gusti A Wahyudi, President Director of PT Bukit Asam Medika.
The 250 kVa generator is capable of meeting approximately 80% of RSBAM's electrical needs. "RSBAM is committed to providing the best services, including by anticipating disruptions that may occur at any time. With PTBA support, the generator's capacity will continue to increase in response to demand," said Gusti.
RSBAM is classified as a general hospital and falls under Type C Hospital. RSBAM serves all levels of society, including PTBA employees and their families, PTBA subsidiaries, partners, and the surrounding community. RSBAM, which is located on Jalan Raya Bukit Asam Number 118 Tanjung Enim, serves as a health care provider.
With the vision of becoming a trusted health service hospital in the Sumatra region, RSBAM strives to provide professional health services wholeheartedly, excelling in service and being environmentally friendly.
