Tanjung Enim, March 2, 2026 – PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) commemorated its 45th Anniversary by carrying the theme “Nawa Urga, Nawa Yatra: Energy Transformation, National Synergy.”

The theme is more than just words; it represents the Company’s identity and commitment to entering its next phase with a stronger spirit of transformation, innovation, and collaboration.

Over 45 years of its journey, PTBA has grown into one of the key pillars in supporting the national energy supply. However, the Company recognizes that business sustainability must go hand in hand with tangible contributions to communities and the environment, particularly in its primary operational areas such as Tanjung Enim and its surrounding regions.

As part of this commitment, PTBA continues to intensify various Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs. In the environmental sector, the Company consistently implements reforestation initiatives through tree planting in post-mining reclamation areas, public facilities, and residential neighborhoods. These efforts form part of its transformation toward increasingly sustainable and environmentally responsible mining practices.

In the healthcare sector, PTBA organizes blood donation drives involving employees, business partners, and local communities. These activities symbolize the Company’s solidarity and social concern in supporting healthcare services within its operational areas.

Meanwhile, to promote community economic self-reliance, the Company has introduced the EcoGrow Mom Fostered Program, which empowers housewives to develop environmentally based and creative economy businesses. Through training, mentoring, and marketing support, the program helps enhance business capacity while strengthening household economies in communities surrounding the Company’s operations.

President Director of PTBA, Arsal Ismail, stated that the 45th anniversary marks an important milestone in reaffirming the Company’s transformation direction.
