CIP Award 2026, PTBA’s Platform for Turning Ideas into Real Solutions

Tanjung Enim, September 11, 2026 – PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA), a member of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding, continues to strengthen a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the company through the 2026 Continuous Improvement Project (CIP) Award.
The CIP Award is an appreciation and competition program that recognizes the best Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) implemented across various divisions. Projects carried out throughout 2025 were assessed through a comprehensive and standardized process to identify initiatives that deliver positive impacts on the company’s performance.
The event also serves as a platform for Bukit Asam employees to improve project execution, develop innovative ideas, and sharpen their ability to communicate results through storytelling. The best practices generated through these initiatives are also expected to be shared and replicated so that their benefits can reach other work units across the company.
PTBA Corporate Secretary Division Head Eko Prayitno said that the ability to continuously adapt and improve work processes is an important part of responding to evolving business dynamics.
“Continuous improvement does not stop at generating an idea. It is about implementing that idea consistently, creating tangible impacts, and developing it further. Therefore, the CIP Award serves both as an appreciation program and a platform for sharing best practices that can create added value for the company,” said Eko.
According to Eko, the involvement of all employees is key to fostering an innovative work environment. Every idea, whether related to operations or business processes, has the potential to be developed into a more effective solution.
“The spirit of innovation and continuous improvement needs to be part of our daily work. The more ideas we develop, test, and implement, the greater the opportunity for the company to find solutions that improve the effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, and quality of its business processes,” he said.
Meanwhile, TIBIA Chairman Tegar Resdiansyah said the event also provides participants with an opportunity to share experiences and lessons learned from various initiatives that have been implemented.
“The CIP Award provides a platform for PTBA employees to showcase initiatives that have delivered impacts while sharing lessons learned with colleagues in other work units. We hope this competition will further foster the spirit of developing solutions and innovations that create added value for the company,” said Tegar.
TIBIA CIP Award Coordinator Dian Lazuardy BA explained that the assessment process covers various aspects and does not focus solely on the final results of each project. The assessment is conducted comprehensively and in a standardized manner to ensure that every improvement initiative is evaluated objectively.
“The 2026 CIP Award is an appreciation and competition program recognizing the best continuous improvement (CIP) implementations across all divisions throughout 2025. The projects are assessed through a comprehensive and standardized process by both external and internal judges. The event aims to encourage improvements in the quality of innovation, execution, and storytelling, promote best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and healthy competition across the company,” said Dian Lazuardy.
PTBA hopes that the 2026 CIP Award will further strengthen the habit of seeking more effective ways of working and developing sustainable solutions. This is in line with the company’s transformation efforts to improve efficiency, productivity, competitiveness, and value creation. Going forward, PTBA will continue to expand opportunities for collaboration and healthy competition so that the best ideas can grow into practices that deliver broader benefits for the company.
