A day after celebrating the 33rd anniversary, PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk inaugurated the use of Bukit Asam Home Outlet, a new facility that could held the promotion of various products from CSR PTBA assisted counterparts, some of them are Sentra Industri Bukit Asam (SIBA), various Posdaya, and other assisted counterparts.

The outlet sized 5x6 square meters which located in the front room of CSR PTBA office, Jalan Jurang Parigi Number 1, Tanjung Enim, was inaugurated by Director of PTBA, Milawarma after had carried out PTBA  birthday ceremonial on Monday,  March 3, 2014. Rumah Gerai Bukit Asam was a form of commitment and ideals of PTBA to enhance the synergy between the company and the society as well as developing the independence that society was expected to overcome marketing constraints and products promotion both for internal needs of the company and external.

In the early stage, Bukit Asam Home Outlet became a showroom for 12 assisted counterparts of PTBA from various types of business, such as spare parts, bokashi fertilizer, simantri, and various Posdaya with at least 32 types of displayed products which mostly were packaged snacks for gift. In addition, there were also a wide range of souvenirs, handicrafts, agricultural equipments, and t-shirts available.
