Lampung, March 3, 2026 – PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA), in collaboration with Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Lampung, organized a blood donation drive at the Integrated Office, 1st Floor, Tarahan Port Unit.

The activity was part of the company’s 45th Anniversary celebration and served as a tangible expression of its social commitment to the community.

Blood donation plays a vital role in meeting the needs of patients requiring transfusions due to accidents, major surgeries, cancer, and other blood-related disorders. A single unit of donated blood can help save up to three lives.

In addition to benefiting recipients, blood donation also offers health advantages for donors, including helping maintain balanced iron levels and stimulating the production of new red blood cells.

A total of 157 donors participated in the activity, comprising employees of PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk Tarahan Port Unit, subsidiaries’ personnel, business partners, and residents of Serengsem Sub-district. The strong participation reflected a spirit of togetherness and social care in commemorating PTBA’s 45th anniversary.

PTBA’s Corporate Secretary Division Head, Eko Prayitno, stated that through this blood donation initiative, the Company aims to make a meaningful contribution to supporting blood supply availability in Lampung Province while fostering a spirit of care and solidarity within the corporate environment.

“As PTBA marks its 45th anniversary, the Company hopes that social initiatives such as this can continue to be carried out sustainably as part of our commitment to social and environmental responsibility,” Eko explained.

He further emphasized that PTBA remains committed to delivering programs that provide direct benefits to the community and to strengthening harmonious relationships with all stakeholders.

The enthusiastic participation of 157 donors once again demonstrated the strong sense of solidarity and social awareness surrounding PTBA’s 45th anniversary celebration.
