Jakarta, December 2, 2025 – PT Bukit Asam Tbk has received the Nindya-Level Child-Friendly Company (PLA) Award organized by the Indonesian Child-Friendly Company Association (APSAI). The award ceremony was held at the United Tractor Ballroom in Jakarta on Tuesday (12/2/2025).

The Child-Friendly Company Award is presented to companies and business entities that demonstrate strong commitment and concern for children, particularly in fulfilling children’s rights in Indonesia.

Listati, PTBA's Community Engagement and Partnership Department Head, expressed her appreciation for the award.

“This recognition reflects PTBA’s commitment and efforts in creating a child-friendly environment and fulfilling children’s rights,” she stated.

She added that PTBA consistently upholds its commitment to children through inclusive education and health programs. This commitment is manifested in the form of scholarship support, the Ayo Sekolah and Ayo Sekolah Plus programs, as well as health initiatives such as stunting prevention and the provision of supplementary food (PMT).

PTBA received the Nindya-Level Child-Friendly Company Award after going through the following assessment stages: (1) Self-assessment activities to evaluate the company’s commitment and efforts in creating a child-friendly environment (September); (2) Field verification by the evaluation team to ensure alignment between submitted data and actual conditions on-site (October); (3) Dialogues with the Evaluation Board to discuss the assessment results and provide clarifications on several points (November 2025).

“After completing these evaluation stages, PTBA was officially declared eligible to receive the Nindya-Level Child-Friendly Company Award,” Listati concluded.
