Stepping Up! PTBA’s Products Demonstrate Strong Competitiveness in the Capital City Market

Jakarta, March 26, 2026 – The participation of MSMEs fostered by PTBA in the Semarak Ramadan Bazaar held at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) in Jakarta delivered encouraging results. Over the three-day event, local entrepreneurs recorded significant sales.
Among the six participating MSMEs, handicraft and fashion products emerged as the main contributors to overall sales. FnR Craft stood out as the top performer, recording the highest daily revenue.
On the other hand, the food and beverage sector also made a positive contribution. Le Otonk, with its processed catfish products, along with Beskabean Kopi and two other coffee brands—SIBA Kopi and Kopi Pak Ratin—added to the overall sales figures.
The Semarak Ramadan Bazaar itself as part of efforts to support MSME empowerment while enlivening the holy month of Ramadan. The event featured a wide range of flagship products from state-owned enterprise (SOE) partners and served as a strategic platform to connect business actors directly with consumers in a representative venue.
Sustainability Economic, Social & Environment Department Head, Listati, stated that PTBA, together with Rumah BUMN Banyuasin and Danantara Indonesia, leveraged this momentum to encourage their fostered MSMEs to grow further, become more adaptive, and compete in broader markets.
According to her, the Company’s support not only impacts short-term sales growth but also strengthens business foundations for long-term sustainability.
“This achievement is a positive indicator that local MSME products have strong competitiveness when facilitated through the right promotional platforms,” she explained.
Listati added that beyond boosting direct sales, participation in the bazaar also opens wider business networking opportunities for MSME players.
“We hope that this strategic promotional platform within the ESDM environment will not only increase their income ahead of Eid al-Fitr but also expand market opportunities and strengthen synergy between the government, SOEs, and local business actors,” she added.
Through this initiative, PTBA continues to reaffirm its role not only as an energy company but also as a development agent contributing to strengthening the people’s economy and improving community welfare.
