On its 41st anniversary, Bukit Asam renovated 25 housing units in its ring 1 neighborhood. Bukit Asam's Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Hartono, accompanied by Adhi Garmana, the Head of Bukit Asam's 2022 Anniversary, hoped that the residents who received this assistance could benefit from the house renovation program. "We hope to enter Bukit Asam 41st anniversary with a synergy among Bukit Asam, the community and the government focusing on community activities," said Hartono.
Meanwhile, Adhi Garmana explained that Bukit Asam's 41st Anniversary commemoration this year, took the theme "Bukit Asam for a Better Life". There are 23 housing units receiving minor renovation that will be carried out until the end of 2022 and 2 housing units receiving total renovation. The houses with total renovation belong to Rasli, a resident of Karang Raja Village of Muara Enim District and Ahmad, a resident of Keban Agung Village of Lawang Kidul District. During the inauguration ceremony on March 1, 2022, Bukit Asam carried out a total renovation of Rasli’s house with area of 32 m2.
The Head of Karang Raja Village, Okta Noviaty, showed gratitude for this activity and wish Bukit Asam the best in the future, to be a world-class company that continues sharing with the local community. Rasli also expressed similar thing, he thanked Bukit Asam for helping and renovating his house, "May Bukit Asam always prosper," he prayed.
