Jakarta, July 30, 2026 – PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a member of MIND ID, Indonesia's State-Owned Mining Industry Holding, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national food security through value-added coal downstreaming. This commitment was demonstrated through PTBA's participation in Inagritech 2026, held at Jakarta International Expo from July 28 to 30, 2026.
Under the theme "From Potassium Humate to Food Security Across the Archipelago," PTBA showcased its Potassium Humate innovation, which is planned to be commercialized under the BA Grow brand. BA Grow is one of the Company's coal downstream products, developed as a soil conditioner to support more productive and sustainable agriculture.
PTBA Corporate Secretary Division Head Eko Prayitno stated that the Company's participation in Inagritech 2026 is part of its efforts to expand strategic partnerships with stakeholders across the agricultural industry, including academics, researchers, and government institutions.
"Such collaboration is expected to accelerate the adoption of coal downstream innovations in the agricultural sector while supporting the national food security agenda," he said.
Eko added that PTBA's participation in Inagritech 2026 also reinforces the Company's commitment to continuously delivering innovations that generate tangible benefits for society, enhance agricultural productivity, and contribute to strengthening Indonesia's food security.
Through its "From Coal to Soil" initiative, the Company demonstrates that coal serves not only as an energy source but can also deliver value to the agricultural sector through innovative, value-added products.
Throughout the exhibition, PTBA educated visitors on the benefits of Potassium Humate in improving soil fertility, enhancing soil structure, increasing nutrient uptake efficiency, and supporting sustainable crop productivity. The information was presented through various interactive media, including digital displays showcasing the development process and benefits of BA Grow Potassium Humate.
PTBA's booth also featured a consultation area for prospective partners, distributors, agricultural and plantation businesses, as well as other stakeholders seeking more comprehensive information on the application of BA Grow Potassium Humate.
Through the development of BA Grow Potassium Humate, PTBA continues to strengthen its business transformation toward becoming a sustainable natural resource-based energy and chemical company.
