PTBA Committed to Support South Sumatra Province in the Organizing of the Asian Games XVII
Asian Games XVIII event that already being set on 2018 in North Sumatera apparently didn't begin unnoticedly by PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk or PTBA. Through this biggest sports competition in Asia, the state-owned company engaged in the coal industry would like to be known on the world stage.
In realizing this, PTBA with the Government of South Sumatra Province are together to undertake the construction of several locations that will be used during the Asian Games event takes place. This commitment has been delivered directly on Tuesday (05.04.2016) by Milawarma, who was serving as Director of PTBA at that time.
The commitment that given by PTBA is building an indoor tennis court or a convention hall that targeted to be used to Asian Games 2018 match. Even later on behalf of the convention hall's name will be inserted also the name of Bukit Asam.
Other development that also pursued by PTBA today is the construction of an icon of Palembang, namely Tugu Belindo where located in front of the Benteng Kota Besak, at the side of the Musi River not far from Ampera Bridge. Also, no less important, for operations in the Asian Games 2018, PTBA also have provided help as much as 24 operational cars to the province of South Sumatra.
