PTBA Donated 1500 Tree Seedlings for Curup Buluh Revegetation Program
Curup Buluh, or known Seven Levels Waterfall in Lahat Regency become a tourism destination. The area has been cleared for mining or deforestation. Mostly are barren land and became degraded land.
PT Bukit Asam ( Persero ) Tbk or PTBA through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program donated 1,500 seedlings to Lahat Environment Agency (BLH) Lahat . It consisted of 500 merbau seeds, 500 bambang lanang seedlings and 500 mahogany seedlings. The seeds were planned to be planted around the Seven Levels Waterfall in Lubuk Solo village, Gumay Ulu District. The PTBA tree seedlings donation were expected to regreening the forest and barren land in Curup Buluh area.
