Tanjung Enim, September 9, 2026 – PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) continues to foster a culture of innovation as part of its transformation and sustainable value creation efforts through the BIGMIND Innovation Award 2026 Socialization Roadshow, held at the Creative Hub, Bukit Asam Main Building, Tanjung Enim.

The event was attended by Hennita Sitepu, PTBA Director of Human Resources and Corporate Transformation; Ghiandi Utoyo, Division Head of Corporate Transformation at MIND ID; as well as PTBA management and employees.

The roadshow featured a socialization session on the BIGMIND framework delivered by Alda Octavia, Consultant at PQM Consultants, as well as the BA Ring-ring Vol. 62 Innovation Series talk show entitled “From Idea to Impact – The Story Behind BIGMIND.” The session also featured Fithri Halim Ahmad, a former BIGMIND 2024 finalist from Bukit Asam.

“BIGMIND provides a platform for PTBA employees to develop ideas into innovations that deliver tangible impact. We encourage all PTBA employees to embrace innovation to improve performance and create added value,” said Hennita.

Echoing this, Ghiandi said that BIGMIND is not merely a competition, but a platform for MIND ID Group employees to develop ideas that are relevant to business needs and future challenges.

“We encourage innovation to go beyond ideas and evolve into solutions that deliver impact and create value for the company,” said Ghiandi.

In 2026, BIGMIND features two categories: Implementation, for innovations that have been implemented and delivered tangible benefits, and Conceptual, for ideas with potential for further development. Both categories cover five innovation areas: Resources and Reserve, Mining Operations, Downstream Operations/Kaizen, Technology Improvement and Product Development, and Corporate System & Ways of Working.

Registration is open from August 17 to September 18, 2026, followed by the initial selection, semifinalist pitching on October 15–16, finalist workshop on October 26–30, Demo Day on November 11–13, and the Final Awarding on November 13, 2026.
