PTBA, through their CSR Program unit is granting financial aid in two places, Saung Ilmu, Pelakat Village, Semende Darat Ulu, Muara Enim and Pondok Pesantren Al-Kharomain, Semende which under the guidance of K.H. Gerentam. The Aid is granted symbolically by PTBA’s SM CSR, Yansir Nani accompanied by CSR Assistant Financial Manager, Yusril Alamsyah and Assistant Environmental Manager, Gito Prawoko in Saturday, 22nd of November 2013.
    
The aids given to Saung Ilmu consisted of 1 PC unit, Religion and General Knowledge books, Religion Education for children VCD, Al-Quran, and 10 sets of mukena and sarong.

Saung Ilmu is a reading house aiming to become the place of study and the center of knowledge for children, teenager and adult who live in Desa Pelakat and it’s surrounding.

This aid is PTBA concern in the field of Education and social. “Our aid is intend to participating in developing the general and religion knowledge, and this visit is intend to actualize the harmony in the community and social relationship. The total nominal of this aid is IDR 15.520.000.” Said Yansir Nani, PTBA’s SM CSR.

In the same event, PTBA CSR also aiding Pondok Pesantren K.H Gerentam Semende, in the form of 90 set mukena and sarong, also general and religion knowledge books. KH Denawi, the leader of Pondok Pesantren Al-Kharomain Semende express his gratitude to PTBA for its support to the santri. He hope this aid will be useful and hope that PTBA will maintain its glory to the world.
