PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. (PTBA) held a program of prospective participants Scholarship Neighborhood Bukit Asam (Bidiksiba) Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang. A total of 127 participants from 132 participants who register must take examinatin to win 20 seats in the college.

Senior Manager of CSR PTBA Saiful Islam in his speech at the opening ceremony of the implementation of the selection (handover test material) in the High School Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim, Thursday (26/5), said the program is a form of concern Bidiksiba PTBA to communities around the company, especially the poor. Therefore, PTBA hopes implemention of the program can run smoothly and uplift the families of participants selected.

Prospective participants of Bidiksiba 2016 carried out independently by PTBA collaboration with the Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. Such cooperation has existed for three years, which means it has three generation are currently studying at the Polytechnic of Sriwijaya with the facilities and costs provided by PTBA.

Before the written exam held, Bidiksiba Committee of Polytechnic Sriwijaya handover question and answer sheets to the Senate Tim POLSRI as invigilator who was accompanied by security personnel POLSRI and witnessed by representatives from the Department of Education Muara Enim and the Committee of PTBA.

Meanwhile, The Department of Education and Culture of Muara Enim welcomed the event, and hope next year's quota may be increased in view of the high public interest underprivileged to continue their education to a higher level.
