PTBA Launches BIDIKSIBA 2017
PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk or PTBA once again held a scholarship program of Bukit Asam (BIDIKSIBA) Education in 2017. The launching and socialization event of BIDIKSIBA 2017 which cooperates with Polytechnic State of Sriwijaya Palembang (Polsri) and Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema) was conducted in Multi Purpose Building (GSG) PTBA Tanjung Enim, on Friday (7/4).
Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PTBA, Syaiful Islam through Partnership and CSR Partnership Manager, Bud Budiman in his speech said that BIDIKSIBA program that has been run every year since 2011 is a form of PTBA concern to the community around PTBA, Economically capable.
Prospective participants BIDIKSIBA are high school graduate students in the ring area of ??1 companies belonging to the category of underprivileged society, therefore PTBA hopes the implementation of the program can run smoothly and raise the family of selected participants.
"The selection of prospective participants of BIDIKSIBA 2017 is conducted independently in Tanjung Enim by PTBA in cooperation with Polsri and Polinema," said Nan Budiman.
It is said Nan Budiman, BIDIKSIBA program cooperation between PTBA with Polsri itself has been established for the last four years, it means that there are three forces who are studying in Police with facilities and fees provided by PTBA. Meanwhile, cooperation with Polinema has been done since 2015 ago.
"We hope the quota given by the academics can increase this year, given the high interest to be able to continue studies to college. So if last year there are 20 students who successfully follow the program BIDIKSIBA, expected this year will be more, "said Bud Budiman.
