Accident and Fire Prevention Unit (UPKK) PTBA or known as the main resque not only in charge for fire eradication inside company area only. Furthermore, their actions were already well known in the Company nearby areas. This unconditional social responsibility (CSR) in form of support has no limit for time and place. Help hands were given whenever disasters occured, such as fire, flood, people washed away, and landslides. The main rescue team members were required to have concern and responsibility that often endanger their own lives whenever on duty.

The unit consisted of 35 members and supported by 4 fire truck, 1 mobile resque and an ambulance were on duty for 24 hours in their post in Lawang Kidul District Office. Among various fire cases recorded, most cases were forest fires that spread to housing areas and  approaching company's assets. During 2015 July to end of October, almost every day dealing with fire in Company nearby areas.

Currently, the  team practice hard for refreshment and solidity among the team members (11/11/2015) to prepare for the Fire Resque International Competition. The competition will be held in AKAMIGAS Cepu, Central Java, 2015 November 15^th-24^th. The championship will be participated by 17 teams, PTBA included and the juries will be from South America and Australia.
