PTBA Participate in Illiterate and Quran Reading Illiterate Eradication
To more than 100 TPA (Qur’an Reading Education) in Lawang Kidul district, Friday (05/29/2015), PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk or PTBA provided aid to 20 TPAs in Lawang Kidul. PTBA partnership with the Lawang Kidul District Religious Affairs Office (KUA) for the event.
The monthly aid was one of PTBA regular agenda to development community and Islam, especially to eradicate illiteracy and QURAN READING ILLITERATE. PTBA aid felt very useful for mental development and the faith quality of the students. It was expected that the students can understand and practice of their religious study in their daily lives.
Since 2012, PTBA has provided assistance to all TPU registered in Lawang Kidul KUA. It was done by monthly rotation. The aid was in form of money, amounted 500 thousand rupiah for each TPA. Each month PTBA helps 20 TPAs to support their operational costs.
